Announcing the 2024 Grant Recipient

In response to the RFP 2024 on "Successful Communication: novel, real-life relevant outcome measures of HA benefit" IRC received 25 great project proposals. Since IRC will terminate its operations in 2027, the 2024 RFP was the final RFP by IRC.

The IRC is now pleased to announce the decision to fund as the last IRC funded project:

  1. "A context-dependent approach to measuring hearing-aid benefit in real-life conversations" led by Prof. Graham Naylor, University of Nottingham, UK.

The project started mid 2025, and we look forward to seeing the results and contributions from the project in the coming two years.

The IRC is once again very pleased to have received excellent proposals from globally leading researchers and sincerely appreciate the effort put into these proposals. We are pleased to have stimulated relevant research fields, both with funding, but also in providing topics of interest to the hearing industry and hearing research community, that consequently will lead to greater impact of the conducted research.
